Tamil Typing Test

Gross WPM is every character you typed divided by five, per minute. Net WPM subtracts your errors per minute, and accuracy is correct characters out of everything you typed. Characters are counted the way Tamil script is actually written — a letter with its vowel signs and marks is one unit, not several.

Yes. The test compares whole written units (Unicode grapheme clusters), so a base letter and the marks attached to it count once. Text typed in a different but equivalent Unicode form still matches, which is why a correct answer is never marked wrong on a technicality.
