Arabic Voice Typing
Speak Arabic, get Arabic script text — then copy, export, or share it. Powered by your browser's speech recognition.
Autosaved in your browser — nothing is uploaded or stored on our servers.
Arabic is written right-to-left and its letters connect within words. Use the on-screen keyboard — including hamza forms and harakat diacritics — or dictate with voice typing; the workspace handles right-to-left text correctly.
Frequently asked questions
How does Arabic voice typing work?
Click the microphone, allow access, and speak Arabic. Your browser's built-in speech recognition converts speech to Arabic script text, which you can insert into the workspace and export. This is speech-to-text in Arabic — not translation from English.
Is my voice recorded or uploaded to WorldTyping?
No. Voice recognition is handled by your browser/device provider (for example Chrome's speech service). WorldTyping never receives or stores your audio — only the recognized text appears in your workspace, and it stays in your browser.
Which browsers support voice typing?
Chrome and Edge on desktop and Android have the best support, and Safari on iOS/macOS works in recent versions. If your browser doesn't support it, use your phone keyboard's dictation button instead.
